Malmesbury Abbey Wedding Photographer
Early December last year and along with the arrival of some heavy snow here in the South West, came by busiest month for wedding photography of the year. It started with the very cool wedding of Caroline and Stuart at Malmesbury Abbey, followed by a fun-fueled reception at The Old Bell, Malmesbury. As I have mentioned before, Malmesbury Abbey and The Old Bell are both less than 500yds away from my home so I am very familiar now with the venues and the staff. Neil Archer, the vicar at Malmesbury Abbey is so relaxed and a great help to us as documentary photographers on the wedding day.
Caroline had specifically chosen me, not just because of my local situation, but because of my reportage photography approach. Here are some kinds words she left on my Facebook business page:
Hi Kevin, just wanted to say a huge thank you for our wedding photos, they are absolutely gorgeous and really paint a picture of the day’s events…looking through them was like replaying the day all over again. You have a wonderful and unique style which truly captures the spirit of the day. Malmesbury Abbey looked beautiful in the snow. Thanks again!! Caroline & Stu
Guests at this wedding can order prints from my client purchasing area.
As usual a small selection of my favourites from the day. Your comments are appreciated of course.

Excellent work as usual Kevin. I love the abbey – it’s beautiful and you’ve done it justice! Also, love the bride’s reaction to the speeches, perfect.
Nice work Kevin, Looks like a cold day. I love the one of the little girl taking a picture.
Lovely set of photographs Kevin. The venue looks stunning and you have certainly done it justice. Well done.
Very nice Kevin. Not easy on a cold day I can imagine!
as ever, lovely pictures Kevin
What a beautiful story, you’ve captured their day perfectly!!
Jeezz Kevin you just keep battin them out of the stadium… another fab set of images! Was trying to see if I could spot you in the bauble on the tree
Fab stuff… my fav is the dance and the confetti…! nice work!
Wow – what a venue and what a fabulous set of photos!! Well done you, no wonder the bride and groom are so delighted with the results!
Kevin, Beautiful, so sharp in such low light, stunning!!!! love the lighting in the dance floor shot and the post processing too
Lovely set of images Kevin. Like the cute shot of the girl with the camera – always good to keep an eye on the competition !
Love the contrast on the shot with the bride adjusting her veil, I can almost feel the fabric of her dress and her eyes look stunning, but slightly spooked by the headless bridesmaid!
Great set of images. I, particularly, like the little girl with the camera. What was the chance of that happening
Great capture. You’ve documented everything so well.
Great work – excellent moments caught plus skilful use of low light
The first image is gorgeous, lovely set too. I can feel the winter crispness!
Absolutely stunning, your black and whites/sepia conversions are perfect.
Lovely work Kevin, looks so cold and chilly outside, but you captured the warmth within.
Beautiful images Kevin, inspirational as always.
Exceptional images as always Kevin – I can feel the atmosphere of the day and I never tire of looking at your work. Most wedding photographers give their clients ‘pictures’ but you capture memories and moments which will be treasured.
I’ve had many a few cold shoots like this. Nice work by the way!
Absolutely gorgeous, Kevin!!! I adore them all. And man, I’m jealous of those beautiful locations you get to photograph. Sure blows the usa straight out of the water
