West Midlands Wedding Photographer
Back in June I headed up the M5 to the West Midlands for Annabel and Richard’s wedding. Annabel had approached me many month before hand when she was looking for a West Midlands wedding photographer. Understanding my approach to wedding photography she booked the day and it was a simple case of waiting for it to come along and enjoy the beautiful English Summer weather.
Well, that was the plan. Instead, the heavens opened during the morning and early afternoon and at one point there was very serious chance that Annabel could be about to lose her gorgeous veil to the elements. Disaster averted, Annabel and Richard certainly weren’t going to let a bit of rain dampen their day.
My day started early at Annabel’s parents home for some bridal preparation photography. After that, it was a short drive to the family church of St. Margaret’s in Great Barr. The wedding ceremony of course was gorgeous and there were smiles all round (despite the down pour).
A quick dash across country and we found ourselves at Goldstone Hall in Market Drayton. By this point, the weather had relented somewhat, and the guests were able to enjoy the lovely gardens and surroundings at Goldstone Hall.
After the wedding breakfast the speeches took place. A lot of Richard’s rugby team were there, along with Annabel’s venture lads and I think it’s fair to say their were some close-call moments, hysterical moments and very emotional moments during the speeches. Many times I had to remind myself to take photos and not just enjoy the speeches.
The evening ended with the first dance and at that point, I took my leave back down the M5 to Wiltshire. It was a really lovely wedding, and one I know Annabel and Richard enjoyed thoroughly.
