Whatley Manor Wedding Photography

Photographing a wedding at Whatley Manor is such a privilege.  Laure & Rob got married there last weekend, and, as ever the hotel and its staff were impeccable.

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great for this wedding so Rob and Laure were confined to the inside for most of the day.  Not to matter though – they had a thoroughly good time at their wedding, and so did all their guests.

I have several other weddings this summer and next year booked at Whatley Manor and I’m looking forward to each one more and more now.  Here are a small selection of some of my favourite images from the first edit.

As ever, all of thse shots are pure documentary wedding photographs – no prompting, posing or moving of subjects.

The Rectory Wedding Photography

Yesterday was my fifth wedding of the season and I now have room in my 2010 diary for just two more weddings.  It was the hottest day of the year so far and once again I was at the wonderful Malmesbury Abbey for the wedding of Sophie & Chris.

Malmesbury Abbey is such a wonderful location for a wedding.  Not only because it is in my hometown, but because of the wonderful history and architecture woven into the very fabric of the building.

After the service, we whisked the four miles up the road to The Rectory Hotel and Restaurant.  This quintessential of English venues was, on St. George’s weekend, host to one of the most quintessential of English wedding receptions….. complete with cricket and croquet!
