The Rectory Wedding Photography

Yesterday was my fifth wedding of the season and I now have room in my 2010 diary for just two more weddings.  It was the hottest day of the year so far and once again I was at the wonderful Malmesbury Abbey for the wedding of Sophie & Chris.

Malmesbury Abbey is such a wonderful location for a wedding.  Not only because it is in my hometown, but because of the wonderful history and architecture woven into the very fabric of the building.

After the service, we whisked the four miles up the road to The Rectory Hotel and Restaurant.  This quintessential of English venues was, on St. George’s weekend, host to one of the most quintessential of English wedding receptions….. complete with cricket and croquet!

Here are a selection of my favourites from the first edit.  As always, please click to enlarge and please feel free to leave any comments.

Oxfordshire Wedding Photography – Coleshill

In early August I photographed the wedding of Alex and Louise in Coleshill, Oxfordshire.  The weather was stunning, and, as it was a military wedding, there was plenty of finery on show.

I didn’t get a chance to add the images to the blog at the time, but here are a selection from the day.
