Glemham Hall Wedding Photographer
Nigel and Charlotte booked me as their Glemham Hall Wedding Photographer a year or so back. I’d been really looking forward to their wedding, which was in October last year. greatly. The ceremony was at the lovely St. James Church, Dunwich which is about as far east as you can get in England without getting your feet wet.
Charlotte got prepared at her family home before a short walk down the lane, past the interested cows, and into the church itself. In small churches, I often shoot from the back, and as Charlotte and her father entered I could sense the emotion tingling between the two of them. Nigel waited patiently of course at the foot of the altar as his beautiful bride approached. Charlottes family are very musical, and a recital, written by her father was a fitting touch to a lovely ceremony.
Later, the happy couple and their guests headed off to Glemham Hall in nearby Woodbridge. Again, a very beautiful and welcoming stately home. The guests mingled for a while before settling to a wonderful wedding breakfast in the marquee set in the abundant gardens at Glemham Hall. The speeches, as is often the case of course at weddings, were both emotionally charged as well as very humourous – with an interesting game involved (I’ll let the picture do the talking).
It was a genuinely lovely wedding and Charlotte and Nigel looked relaxed and happy as I disappeared into the Suffolk night shortly after their speeches concluded.
