Its been a while since I published a Why I Love this Picture post – mostly due to summer vacations, speaking commitments and lots of weddings.
However, I’ve wanted to share this image from Clare & Chris’s wedding at Stonehenge back on a [very early] July morning.
Believe it or not, even though I live in the same county, I’d never visited Stonehenge. Of course, I’ve viewed it at speed, from the window of my car many times but I was really delighted to be able to photograph this wedding right in the centre ring of the henge itself.
So to this image; I really love it as it was shot at the time that not only did I set my eyes on Stonehenge for the first time (up close), but also Clare and Chris – and their little boy, aptly dressed as Thor for the occasion.
Its a beautiful place, and at 6:30am on summers morning it gives off an ethereal feeling.
I really hope you love this wedding photograph and I’m looking forward to posting more from this lovely wedding in due course.
