There isn’t a whole lot to say about this wedding picture except that it makes me smile each time I see it.
I shot this photograph during the dancing a wedding I shot in Philadelphia, USA last November.
It was cold outside, very cold, but the wedding was filled with warmth and one thing was for sure, all the guests and family knew how to dance the evening away.
I really enjoy looking at this photo as it’s kind of timeless. The image could have been photographed in 1950 for all we know.
It’s simply two people, clearly in love, enjoying some time together.
From a technical point of view it’s quite noisy as it was shot at 6,400 ISO. The last thing I would even consider here however is blasting this delicate moment with a flash gun. If I did that, the moment would be compromised and the integrity of the moment is paramount for me.
I remember when I took the shot, actually putting the camera down and just watching the couple for a while and just observing the two of them enjoying each others company.
