As a dad to two little people myself, I’m well aware of how their minds can work.
This photograph was taken at a wedding this summer at Notley Abbey.
I’ve yet to blog the wedding, but I wanted to share this image today as its actually one of my favourites from the year so far (three weddings still to shoot before 2016!!).
This was taken just seconds before the bridal party made their entrance and headed down the aisle.
I love getting down to same eye level as children when I can, and whilst I don’t normally look for direct eye-contact, I do love it when little children look straight down the lens.
I think, in this image, we can see the total trepidation that is in the little bridesmaid.
She will have been building up to this very moment almost as long as the bride herself and its a huge occasions for the little girl.
Moments later, of course, she’s at the bottom of the aisle and is bustling about eager for the next part of the day.
I love this picture and I hope you do too.
