Since becoming a professional photographer several years ago, I have had a lot of interaction with other photographers who are interested in how I manage my business, especially from a web and social media point of view.

There are no secrets to this, everything you need is at your disposal and in your hands.  If you are confident in your imagery and you are still struggling, chances are its your website and/or marketing strategy that is a problem.

SEO, Marketing & Design Tips for Photographers (One to One Session):

An intensive one day session here at the studio in Malmesbury.  We will look at;

• The essentials of SEO from a photographers point of view
• Analyse the different ways of doing well on the Search Engines
• Identifying and avoiding the black-hat habits that Google penalizes
• Using Google Webmaster Tools, Adwords and Analytics correctly
• Understanding the architecture of a SEO friendly site
• Figure out the most important keywords and phrases for your website and how to track them
• Open up your site and check what is working, what isn’t working and what you need to do going forward
• Effective blogging and understanding its impact in marketing your website.
• Understanding how Google is morphing into something bigger than most people understand.  And what you need to do to feed the beast.

Although not essential for the seminar, the session will concentrate on WordPress as the tool of choice as its by far the most common platform for Photographers currently.

Additionally, you will also get:

• Approximately six weeks after your session I will conduct an SEO review of your site which will give you an actionable list of remaining things to do to help your site.
• Exclusive access to the SEO for Photographers Forum.  This forum is only open to people who have attended one-to-one sessions with me.  I offer ongoing support and advice for you and your business covering everything from SEO, Business Marketing, Social Media and beyond.  This is a truly unique resource and I am active on that forum every day.

SEO & Marketing Remote Mini-Session:

An 1 hour consultations over Skype or Google+1 Hangout.  Prior to the session I will look at your site and produce a report of action.   We will then discuss this during the one hour session where I will be able to demonstrate the best practices and give you solid advice about the state of your website.  The printed report of actions will be produced for you to use as a point of action list.
