Last October I drove up to Cleve Lodge in Nottingham to document the wedding of Amanda and Paul.  Nottingham isn’t a place that I visit that often, but I will never forget it.  Not only because of this wonderful wedding, but because of the thousands upon thousands of traffic cameras that seem to be at every turn in the city.

This was a very cool wedding;  Amanda and her friends getting ready at home, with plenty of bubbly flowing followed by a lovely ceremony at the lodge.  It was a genuinely fun wedding, and when I left, I could still hear the sounds of guests laughing and being merry as I passed the fourth traffic camera.

I had some lovely feedback from Amanda when she returned from her honeymoon to view the photographs:

Thank you so much for the photos, they are amazing! They are just what we wanted and as we sat and watched them last night it was like reliving the whole wedding day, it was great! It’s so lovely to be able to see what everyone else was doing and it looks like everyone enjoyed themselves!

We can’t thank you enough for your professionalism and friendliness that day and you made two people who hate having their photos taken relax totally and enjoy themselves without feeling the need to ‘pose’!

As usual, here are a brief selection of my favourites from the day.

  1. Lovely images kevin. The Guy in charge of the bubbly is very expressive, any move expression and you could swear he was celebrating scoring a try !

    • A cracking set here, Kevin. Your black and white conversions are superb, particularly loving those last two and the one of the (I think) best man.

  2. Oh I love these….especially the last one! Hmmm, do you think it would be wrong to get divorced just so we could get married again and have you as our photographer? Yes, I think that might be a bit extreme….perhaps I could suggest that we renew our vows….ha…now there’s a thought 🙂

  3. Great stuff!

Can’t put my finger on it, but something looks different than your normal look with these photos. Could be processing, lenses etc, can’t nail it down, but it looks great anyway! Really love number 3, very cool 🙂

  4. There is a caption competition waiting to happen with the cork pulling! Lovely images as alway Kevin.
