Penshurst Place Wedding
In May I travelled to Kent to photograph the Penshurst Place Wedding of Su and Simon. Now, I have to tell you something about Su and Simon: A more clearly in love couple I think you’ll find it difficult to meet. They were so “into” each other throughout the day it is clear they are going to spend the rest of their lives together as a very happily married couple.
The day started with some bridal prep photography before I headed of to Penshurst Place – which is a gorgeous stately home that is nearly seven hundred years old. Not being a Kent local I had never visited it before but this Penshurst Place wedding wasn’t going to let me down in terms of photographic opportunities.
There were a substantial amount of tears throughout the ceremony from both Simon and Su and really, I found it quite hard to hold back the tears myself at some points. Later on the newly married couple and their guests headed over to the Donnington Manor Hotel in Sevenoaks for a wonderful wedding breakfast, more emotional roller-coasting speeches and what looked like a cracking party taking place as I left.
As usual, a small selection of my favourites from this Penshurst Place Wedding. Please feel free to comment and share on social media of course.

Nice work as usual Kev. Love picture 3
Great photos as always Kevin. The people really come to life.
Kev, love love love the picture of the groom puffing his cheeks out. It’s the ‘realisation’ shot. That ‘Oh my, this is real’ moment. As always, fabulous eye. Neale
Love that image of the groom as he awaits his bride
Great stuff as always
Nice work Kevin, one of my favourite venues in Kent
Second last pic – Two ladies reacting to speech – Lovely
I had a little chuckle at the image of the Simon puffing his cheeks out. Really wonderful capture Kevin. I love the second to last image too – such a great moment.
love the shot of the two ladies laughing during the speeches. great work as always
Yep, agree with Peter. No. 3 is a killer shot. Great stuff.
Lovely, you can see how much they love each other, you really managed to capture the emotion from them both.
Great work Kevin… you really captured the brides emotion well, and little looks of admiration towards the groom, nice work!
Top work as always Kev. The grooms face is the winner. Excellent image.

Love the Brides entrance at the start of the ceremony, perfectly exposed from a techie view, but also very dramatic. Love the speeched as well. very inspiring.
