For the second time this year I found myself photographing the wedding of another wedding photographer.
Steve is a very talented wedding photographer in fact and when he asked me to shoot his marriage to his lovely bride Carla I was humbled and honoured.
The day started for me at the family home where Carla was getting ready with her parents in close attendance.
There after we headed to St. George’s Church, Sevenoaks Weald for a lovely ceremony led by one of the most laid back vicars I’ve come across. It turned out the vicar was a friend of Carla’s from her dance school in Tunbridge Wells.
There was a lot of huggin’ and lovin’ after the ceremony (as it should be) before we all headed off to The Plough at Leigh for a brilliant afternoon and evening.
Carla, Steve, their adorable children and all their friends were wonderful to be around and photograph all day, but perhaps the highlight for me was the dance.
Carla, being a professional dancer and Steve being, well, perhaps not so professional a dancer 🙂
Kind Words from Carla & Steve
“Thankyou again for your generosity, hard work and endless talent in photographing our day for us. If there was one thing we never had any doubt about for our wedding day, it was booking you to do the honours and are damn well pleased we did! :)” – Steve
“Thank you so so so much for our beautiful wedding photos. They are stunning! You have capture the most precious moments of our day, the laughter, the kids, our friends and our family, the service, dancing and speeches. Steve was so adamant we were having you as our photographer and he was so right, you were so wonderful on the day itself and thank you really doesn’t quite say exactly how much we appreciate your talent, your beautiful processing, time and energy you have put into our photos.
All our friends are blown away by them too, a million thank yous” – Carla
