Kings Road London Wedding Photography

A while back, a good friend of mine from my rugby days at London Welsh asked me to photograph his wedding at Kensington & Chelsea Register Office at The Chelsea Old Town Hall.

Fox & Cassie are very cool. Fox has made a record, written a book, played at Glastonbury and it only seemed fitting for him to be married at the same venue as numerous other legends like Mick Jagger et al.

It was a small, intimate wedding, followed by a lunch at a nearby restaurant. Here are a few of my favourite images from the afternoon. Please remember to click the images to enlarge.

A different angle on Wedding Photography

Sometimes the traditional wedding photographs are perfect (especially when processed correctly and more importantly, composed correctly).  However, contemporary wedding photography style has afforded us the opportunity to be much more creative with our choice of shots and processing.

The following three shots are all very different from the traditional style of wedding photography, and, using the Wedding Documentary style of photography, with a touch of colour toning or black and white conversions we can create some very atmospheric wedding imagery that the bride and groom will cherish.

On a recent wedding shoot, I had a chance to hone the contemporary style that I aim to achieve with my photography.
