Westonbirt Arboretum Wedding Photography
Back in the Autumn, I photographed the intimate wedding of Emma and Tim. The ceremony was at the world-famous Westonbirt Arboretum, with the reception meal at the [probably as famous] Wild Duck Inn at Ewen.
Westonbirt Arboretum, although in the next county of Gloucestershire is only a couple of miles away from me here in Wiltshire. It’s absolutely stunning, and somewhere my wife and I often take Rosa our little two-year old daughter. Although the weather for Emma and Tim’s wedding was decidedly autumnal, it didn’t detract from any of the magic of the day – complete with a London Taxi as the bridal carriage.
The Wild Duck at Ewen is a stunning, cosy restaurant in the Cotswolds countryside. The pub itself has a very low ceiling, and is lit mostly by candle light! It was dark, and very intimate for the reception meal and subsequent speeches. The modern Canon cameras that I use allowed me to continue to operate in very difficult circumstances as unobtrusively as possible, without flash, throughout the night.
Again, as usual, a small selection of my favourites from the day:

Another great set presented well Kevin. Strong B&W’s but especially like the three guys at the bar pointing. Perfect timing capturing the moment !
Great set of pictures as usual! The last one with the scarf over the guys face made me laugh
Great images Kev. Getting to see a style in the photos!
Cheers Jon
