Photographing a wedding at Whatley Manor is such a privilege.  Laure & Rob got married there last weekend, and, as ever the hotel and its staff were impeccable.

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great for this wedding so Rob and Laure were confined to the inside for most of the day.  Not to matter though – they had a thoroughly good time at their wedding, and so did all their guests.

I have several other weddings this summer and next year booked at Whatley Manor and I’m looking forward to each one more and more now.  Here are a small selection of some of my favourite images from the first edit.

As ever, all of thse shots are pure documentary wedding photographs – no prompting, posing or moving of subjects.

Great work Kevin, I do like number 4, just a touch of Rembrandt lighting from the window.

You have a fabulous way of capturing all those moments, PJ style but turning them into beautiful art. Lovely work!

Love the shots of the bride getting ready and the flowers on their own with the brides dress out of focus behind – good stuff Grant

    Kevin,
How do you do it? These shots make me feel as if I was there. It’s almost 3D (if that makes sense) which is a testament to your style and technique. Numbers 1, 4 and 15 are the highlights for me but that is purely personal. I take it there was no flash involved and this is just highish ISO plus your technique.
Sincerely well done. You have captured the emotion and the elegance of a couple’s day superbly.

WOW!! I adore the photograph of the guy dancing with the flower in his hair…that is just brilliant!! We have a great picture of our best man and matron of honour (both blokes) cuddling each other when they were taking the piss out of us….our photographer captured it brilliantly but the best bit (and we only realised this later) was that they were doing it outside the women’s toilets!! Classic photo and one that is in our album!!

Your photo’s are beautiful…if we had known you when we got married you would definitely have been booked :-)
