Wedding at The Great Tythe Barn, Tetbury
So, Christmas has been and gone and we are now well into 2013. Amazing! Just amazing how time flies. I’m reminded by the fact that I haven’t blogged many weddings recently – due primarily to a very busy winter schedule, family vacations, conventions etc. However, I’m now reminiscing about Sarah and Ian’s lovely Wedding at The Great Tythe Barn last July.
Sarah actually got prepared at another local wedding venue, The Hare and Hounds just down the road so it was there that I went first. If I said the weather was “amazing”, in July, in the UK….would you believe me? Well, it was. Truly gorgeous – all day. In fact, it was so lovely that Sarah had much of her make-up and hair done outside in the lovely summer breeze.
I headed back up the road to the The Great Tythe Barn when Ian and the guests were assembling. Of course, Ian was very excited about seeing his bride for the first time that day, but he may have been a little nervous perhaps. When Sarah did arrive, just looked absolutely amazing of course and as the ceremony finished the newly married couple and their guests spilled out onto the lawns to lap up the lovely sunshine. Sadly, some guests, couldn’t make the wedding but by the power of modern technology (Apple Face Time in this case) they could watch the ceremony live and it was a touching moment in it’s own right to see that happening.
It really was a lovely Wedding at The Great Tythe Barn and as the speeches progressed and the dancing started I made my exit. Ian and Sarah were a lovely couple and their wedding was very special.
The pictures are amazing! Exactly what we were looking for. We had lots of laughs and a few happy tears looking through them, they really help re-live the day all over again. We are just going through them to find the ones for the albums, which is so hard as there is so many lovely ones to pick from.

Wedding photography at its best… the “eye over the shoulder” shot and the “high heel” shots are sublime. And the cake shot looks almost like it’s being presented on stage at theatre!
