Sudeley Castle Wedding Photography
August in The Cotswolds: Rain – lots of it! Laura and Stuart did not let it affect their incredible wedding though.
Married at St. Peter’s Church, Leckhampton, Cheltenham in a wonderful ceremony, it was off, through the deluge to the resplendent Sudeley Castle for the marquee reception. Genuinely it rained a torrent on the day and at one point I was concerned the guests bus’ may not get up the steep climb to the castle.
No fear though, they all duly arrived and the wedding went into full flow. There was a small break in the cloud for a venture outside, but everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Debbie Hillyard and her team at Sudeley Castle put together a wonderful marquee reception. The speeches were excellent, and I found myself having to concentrate on keeping the camera still through laughing so much during them.
As usual, here are a selection of my favourites from the day – all shot as a documentary wedding photographer. Please feel free to comment.
