Gloucestershire Reportage Wedding Photographer
So, as a Gloucestershire Reportage Wedding Photographer I was back at one of Gloucestershire’s most popular wedding venues, Cripps Barn for the reportage wedding photography of Steph and Matts wedding.
Steph was getting ready at the nearby Barnsley House with her mum and bridesmaids. A quick dash over to Cripps Barn saw me capture the arrival of Matt in a very splendid Jaguar along with his best man ready for what turned out to be a wonderful wedding. The weather was just perfect, and once the ceremony was concluded all the guests spilled out onto the lawns and gardens to the rear of Cripps Barn.
Cripps Barn really is a Gloucestershire reportage wedding photographer’s dream – and I have shot many weddings there this year, with a few still to go as we enter the Autumn wedding season. The staff there are very helpful and the food and service is always second to none. Steph and Matt were clearly in the element all day whilst left to spend time with their friends and family on their very special wedding day.
They had a great string quartet who kept everyone entertained with great tunes all day (I’ve never heard Sweet Child O’ Mine by Guns ‘n’ Roses sound so elegant before) whilst the guests enjoyed the barmy weather and party.
After the wedding breakfast and some fine, and stirring speeches it was on to the first dance and the party, I’m told, continued well into the night.

There are also some brilliant ones during the speeches which capture people’s reactions very well. We also love the ones of the kids. Your photos and style really do tell the story of the wedding and I think the nature and emotions of the day are captured perfectly”
