Documentary Wedding Photography at Kingscote Barn
April 29th 2011 was a very special day. No, not because it was The Royal Wedding, but because it also happened to be Kayleigh and Tom’s very special wedding also.
Unbeknownst to Kayleigh and Tom, that day was also the day our new son was due to be born. Gemma, my long-suffering beautiful wife, and I had “booked” the baby (if you see what I mean) after Kayleigh and Tom had booked me to document their wedding. We decided that the wedding would be the priority, and working on the law of averages, asumed that Albie wouldn’t be born on that day anyway (he wasn’t – he was born a few days later). Needless to say, the stunning wedding in Kingscote Church and later at The Kingscote Barn took my mind of other matters.
St. John the Baptist Church in Kingscote Viliage, was the scene for the ceremony and a lovely one it was too. Tom and the Gents looked marvelous in their Black and White tuxedos and Kayleigh was just beautiful throughout the day and the look on Tom’s face as Kayleigh walked down the aisle told the whole story for me.
The reception was held at Kingscote Barn. I’ve documented several weddings here over the years, and the staff always make me feel very welcome.
Kingscote Barn is one of the best Gloucestershire Wedding Venues and I would strongly recommend any bride and groom looking for a venue to check it out. My documentary wedding photography style is perfectly suited there, regardless of the weather.
