Cheltenham Wedding Photography
A few weeks back, I photographed the wedding of Pete and Lindsay in Cheltenham. It was a glorious day weather wise, and the wedding itself was just perfect too.
The ceremony was held at luxurious Queens Hotel in Royal Cheltenham Spa, with the rest of the festivities held at the wonderful Postlip Tithe Barn. Lindsay, Pete and their friends and family spent many hours decorating the barn themselves, including supplying several local ales on tap which pleased many of the guests (especially in this part of Gloucestershire
).
Lindsay had mentioned to me in the pre-wedding meetings that her parents were part of a folk band. When, on the day, I found out that that band was the legendary 70s folk band Frogmorton I was a little star-struck throughout the day. This wonderful wedding was complete for me when Frogmorton themselves played a set to cover the first dance and to kick off the evening celebrations.
As always, here are a selection of my favourites from the day – all shot in a completely natural, non-intrusive photojournalist way.

fantastic work Kevin, I can totally imagine how star struck you were and can imagine you in a dilema of which way to point the camera
Kevin – you rocked it out, as usual!!!! Love the richness of your B&W shots – you truly make your work look like film. Stunning photos – you captured their wedding so well. Cheers from the other side of the pond!
Typically great work.
I love the shot of them playing croquet

Great B&W’s as always
Great work Kevin, some powerful wide angles in there. Love the shot of the five adults and the baby sitting on the chairs, genius!
