Weekend Update: A trip to the beach
So the first day of Summer in the UK arrived on Sunday and what a glorious day it was. We decided to take a trip to Weston Super Mare which is about an hours drive away from us. Both myself and Gemma have great memories as children of the same beach and very little has changed. The donkeys are still there, the trampolines are still there and so is the (now new) pier of course.
Its such a lovely and lively place when the weather is good and we had a wonderful time. Of course, I took my Fujilm Finepix X100 with me and snapped away throughout the day. The thought of doing this kind of family photography with a DSLR just fills me with dread. The size and weight, lens choices and sand in the glass……. give me a simple 35mm point and shoot any time.
Some family snaps from our day out at Weston Super Mare:
