Kevin Mullins Photography Studios is in the town centre of the Wiltshire town of Malmesbury. Our full address is QAS House, 20A Oxford Street, Malmesbury, Wiltshire SN16 9AX. Malmesbury lies approximately 15 miles west of Swindon on the B4040 and about 10 miles north from Junction 17 on the M4, via the A429. The map below shows the Studio Location and the two car parks.
Please note: if you are coming to the studio for all day training, I strongly suggest using the long stay car park detailed below.
Cross Hayes Short Stay Car Park (satnav postcode: SN16 9BZ):
As you come into the town, you will drive up the High Street and past the studio on your right hand side. You may be lucky enough to find a parking space there. During the working week parking is limited to an hour.
If you can’t park in the High Street turn right at the top of it onto Oxford Street. Turn right again at the end then a little way along you’ll see Cross Hayes car park on your right. This is a pay and display car park and the price is £1.20 for two hours. You can return to the car after two hours to pay for a further two hours. Or you can pay using your mobile phone with the number provided on the pay and display meter.
Exit the car park on foot at the North end (the same end as the Town Hall) and straight up. You will see a house with a tower (normally has a flag raised). Keep going up that road, and QAS House is about 100mtrs down on the left hand side immediately before “The Gig House”. I am in office one and it is the bottom buzzer
Station Road Long Stay Car Park (satnav postcode: SN16 9JT):
As you come to the top of the High Street turn left at the Market Cross. Follow the road right (careful — use the mirror) round the foot of St Paul’s Tower. There are a few parking spaces on the right as you approach the Old Bell Hotel and pass Malmesbury Abbey. If there’s nothing there, then follow the road left down Abbey Row to the junction at The Triangle. Turn right and go down the hill to a mini-roundabout. Straight on there. At the next roundabout (at The Co-Op supermarket) turn right. You’ll see the Fire and Ambulance Stations on your right and Ebley Tyres on your left.
This is Old Station Yard. Drive as far as you can down the road. At the end, turn right and right again into the car park.
The car park is £5.80 for eight hours.
You can follow the signs from the car park back into the town centre (simply cross the small footbridge and come up the Abbey Steps. At the top of the steps keep walking along past Abbey House Gardens (on your left – the Abbey Cloister is on the right) for about 50 mtrs. When the path ends, turn immediately left along a footpath that bends right, then left. That foot path comes out at a set of steps. Go down the steps and walk left for 2 mtrs. My building is there, on the left, right before “The Gig House”. I am in office 1, the bottom buzzer on the door.
Note: If you click on “directions” on the marker for The Station Road car park on the map below, choose the “walking” icon and pop the studio post code in (SN16 9AG) it will give you route directly to the studio from the car park.
