I’m about to embark on another season of weddings, starting this weekend at The Grand Hotel Brighton.
Before then though, I thought I should try and catch up on some blogging and next in line is the wonderful Notely Abbey Wedding of Emilie and Mahmood from July last year !
I’d not been to Notley Abbey before that day, though I have several other weddings booked there this coming season, and it was a great pleasure to have a chance before the wedding to wander around the luscious grounds and soak in the history of this marvellous wedding venue.
My day started with Emilie and her family, who had flown in from Australia, before heading outside for the “Al Fresco” wedding ceremony held on the lawn.
A moving ceremony, with parts to play by many friends and family members.
Soon after it was drinks and canapés as the sun continued to shine on this glorious July day.
After a couple of hours enjoying the gardens it was time for some emotional, funny and poignant speeches before the evening celebrations commenced.
This Notley Abbey Wedding was one to remember and I’m thoroughly looking forward to returning there again soon.
Kind Words from Emilie & Mahmood
“The photos are wonderful! We are so happy with how they turned out, you’ve captured the perfect day perfectly. I love the mix of colour and black and white photos, and i just love the photojournalism feel. My friend showed her mum the photo gallery in Australia and her mum said the photos made her feel like she was at the wedding. My mum has also shown my two grandmas and they loved them.” – Emilie
