Black and White imagery is a passion of mine, and so of course, is black and white wedding photography. I love to shoot the occasional wedding completely in black and white..
On average, I would say that 70% of a typical wedding edit for me would be in colour, with the remainder in black and white. This is what most people want and is perfectly normal in the grand scheme of things.
The purpose of this page is to let you know that it is also perfectly fine to ask me to shoot your wedding completely in black & white. I even have a package name for it~: Wedding Noir (original hey?).
As a documentary wedding photographer, my approach to black and white wedding photography, and each exposure is no different. Each wedding photo is a considered and exact moment, captured for you. The opportunity to have a completely black and white wedding package is in place as I know some people seem to be really drawn to the medium (as I am).
I believe in albums and frames that are elegant and simple at the same time. That’s why I use Jorgensen of Australia albums. Their albums are beautiful and their range, whilst contemporary, will stand the test of time, fashion and taste. One of their landscape albums, with fully corrected and edited black and white wedding photography gracing each page is just a beautiful product.
If you are interested in seeing more of my black and white wedding photography, please take a look at the wedding photography portfolio and also don’t forget to check out my blog. All weddings I shoot have some element of black and white photography in them.
Please make an appointment at the studio to come in and take a look at one yourself.
