Wedding Photographer Hungerford
Wedding Photographer Hungerford: It’s November now and I’m slowly catching up with my wedding blogs. It’s been a pretty hectic summer and there is little slow down to be honest as I’m full on into wedding album design season. All good fun of course. So, I’ll whip us back to the end of June and it was a peculiar day for the British Summer as it was spectacularly sunny, if a little windy.
Sophie and Martin were to be married at St. Andrew’s Church in Wooton Rivers, followed by a reception at the very lovely Orpingham Farm, Hungerford. My day started, as it often does, with some relaxed photos at Sophie’s parents house. When I arrived everyone was in a state of excitement, followed by a state of emotion, followed by another state of excitement.
It was a whirlwind as the flowers arrived, the dress was tweaked and hair was prepped but before long I was back in the car and heading off the Wooton Rivers.
There was a private moment for Martin’s family before the ceremony which was, of course, glorious as any English Church Wedding should be. The now happily married couple exited the church to gorgeous streaming sunshine closely followed by their loving friends and family.
A short journey after took us to the private barn at Orpingham Farm. It’s my understanding that this isn’t a “professional” wedding venue but they certainly put on a professional job on the day.
By now the wind had picked up and there was a bit of a nip in the air but everybody enjoyed a good dose of British sunshine on the lawn outside.
It was the first wedding I’d photographed in Hungerford, and a lovely one to boot. A genuinely lovely couple who I know will have a long and happy life together.
I know I have said it before, but thank you so much, we absolutely love the photos and they will provide happy memories for many years to come!
