Licentiate Awarded
For the best part of a week earlier this month, I attended the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers annual convention in London.
I was actually giving a masterclass myself on the friday (which went very well, thanks to those that attended, and apologise for those who couldn’t get into the room).
I met lots of great photographers, and got a lot of brilliant ideas for my new studio which will be opening very soon (watch this space!).
The highlight for me was being awarded my “Licentiate” of the SWPP at the live judging during the convention. To gain the qualification I had to submit twenty images, which were judged, live, by a panel of eminent photography judges from around the world. This was my first attempt at the qualification and I’m pleased with the panel, and the result of course.
