The International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers Awards
As I was travelling to my wedding yesterday in the far reaches of West Wales, I had a message to tell me that I had been placed in two categories for the The International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers Spring 2011 competition.
Both these images have been placed or won various competitions recently, but I’m particularly pleased with the placings for the ISPWP as this is renowned as a very tough society to get placed in.
From the ISPWP website:
“Our requirements are experience, talent, and professionalism. To be accepted, a photographer must have shot at least 50 weddings, submit their portfolio for review, agree to operate under the ISPWP Code of Conduct, and have an ISPWP Sponsor or four references. And THEN they have to be voted in by current members.”
This image was placed 18th in the 1st Dance Category:
