Priston Mill

The first wedding of 2011 for me was back in early January are the wonderful Priston Mill. Jess and Ed had come over from their life in New Zealand to tie the knot in a beautiful winter wedding. I’d met Jess and Ed a couple of times previously and they are genuinely lovely people, with an incredible love for each other that showed throughout their special day.

The day started with Bridal Prep photography at The Bath Priory hotel and continued all the way through to a wonderful firework display that Jess had organised as a special treat for Ed after the first dance. As I left, I could tell the guests were going to be partying well into the night.

As usual, a small selection of my favourite images from the day. As a documentary wedding photographer, winter weddings can often present difficulties with light and locations as people, understandably, tend to move around less throughout the venue. However, Jess and Ed were blessed with a wonderful crisp winter day, drenched in sunshine throughout.

Thank you so much Kevin x

  3. The 2nd image showing the bride spraying her perfume is a different class.

Natural light photography at its best…

  4. Classy images, agree that the bride spraying perfume is special as are all of the beautifully natural shots of the reception
